Bad news for all

Greenfield Group, who last year put forward plans for the huge Battery Energy Storage Site (BESS) at Brabourne, have given notice that they plan to appeal against the refusal of the scheme by Ashford Borough Council planners.

We are waiting to see if the appeal hearing (chaired by the Planning Inspectorate) will be allowed and will keep you up to date when we hear more about dates and process – possibly over the next week. We will have weeks to prepare and hope to repel this damaging project once and for all.
